High-energy, circus-adjacent, diasporic, genre-fluid chamber jazz from Arco Belo — described as “ego-less, genre-agnostic, and without expectations” (JazzTimes). The group will present original compositions and arrangements at ShapeShifter Lab, closing out their South Arts Jazz Roads tour!
ARCO BELO is a group of high-energy improvisers. Drawing its name from the words bow and bellow, the ensemble captures an irreverent sound melding reeds, strings, and percussive timbres.
