The Last Summer is a rock opera detailing the brief survival of two lovers during a near-future nuclear devastation. This two-hander features a live rock band on stage, hand-made punk and political costumes, and a simple set to tell the story of love and loss in quarantine and beyond. The show invites the audience to explore themes of mortality and extinction while intermixing the reality of the weaponry and music humanity has possessed for the last 8 decades.
