Beledo Power Jazz Trio at ShapeShifter Lab
This will be the first Beledo show back in New York after playing with his band at the international Moonjune Festival in Toledo, Spain, going on tour as a member of the legendary English band Soft Machine, playing a concert with the Montevideo Philharmonic Orchestra featuring his own arrangements as a tribute to his legendary Jazz-Rock band Siddhartha 1977-1983.
Beledo is very well regarded worldwide with excellent reviews of his albums Seriously Deep featuring Tony Levin, Dreamland Mechanism featuring Gary Husband, and On a Mission with his band The Avengers, together with Adam Holzman, Lincoln Goines and Kim Plainfield.
In this opportunity, he will be joined by long-time collaborator Doron Lev on drums, leader of the celebrated Hip-Hop band UglyBraine, and Tyreek Jackson on bass, who has recorded with Grammy-nominated flutist Sarpay Ozçagatay.
