Brooklyn-based saxophonist and composer, Andrew Pereira, enlists some of the finest emerging talent from New York City’s jazz scene to complete this dynamically modern sounding band. Combining intricate horn melodies with an assortment of creative grooves, Andrew’s music pushes boundaries harmonically without ever sacrificing the singable nature of a strong melody, or the emphasis on improvisation that has defined jazz for generations.
Andrew’s debut album, Lost In Plain Sight, was released in December 2023 on the Fresh Sound New Talent label, featuring Neta Raanan, Paul Janoschka, Simòn Willson, and Jonas Esser.
