The esteemed Contramestre Curu began his Capoeira training in Brasília, Brazil’s capital, at the young age of 11. In this fun-filled class students will learn every aspect of the dynamic Brazilian martial art!
They will be introduced to traditional Brazilian instruments, sing Portuguese songs, delve into the history, and learn to move expressively and harmoniously to the rhythm!
Partner activities enhance trust, encourage cooperation, create a distinctive sense of community, and promote dynamic interactions among peers. Curu’s Capoeira class celebrates the joy of collective effort and cultural expression!
