Steve Millhouse Cinema Trio CD Release – Music on the Way: The Music of Henry Mancini

After a long and diverse career as a bassist, performing with numerous artists, touring the world, and playing on Broadway, Steve Millhouse formed the Steve Millhouse Trio, where he showcases his unique chordal and soloistic style on the Contrabass Guitar. Together with Rich Perry on tenor saxophone and Eric Halvorson on drums they have recorded two albums for SteepleChase Records, Valley of the Moon, released in 2023 and the upcoming Looking Back to Today.

In 2022, he formed the Steve Millhouse Cinema Trio, which draws from a rich repertoire of music written for film. This Trio includes Allen Farnham on piano and Eric Halvorson on drums, offering fresh arrangements of works by legendary film composers. Their first album, Valley of the Moon, was released in November 2023, and their current release, Music on the Way: The Music of Henry Mancini, both featuring special guest Scott Wendholt on trumpet and flugelhorn.
