The Josh Levinson Soul & Swing Ensemble (a 16-piece big band) has played at The Shrine and Sylvana’s to great acclaim. We play from a 35-piece library of my work and each piece swings with Latin, Funk, Soul and straight-ahead jazz. My music inspires listeners to think, feel, and dance in their own heads and bodies – – it makes one feel reborn. Using a palate of musical colors from Masekela to Freddie Hubbard, audiences to a one all feel enlivened by my music – – a music that speaks to every listener.
