Led by Canadian-born saxophonist, David Henry Aaron, Flip City has been playing around the NYC scenes since 1996.
David regularly works as a freelance saxophonist in all genres, as well as a teacher, composer, arranger and producer
and has scored numerous films and live theater pieces.
He is also the creator/producer of the Improv At The Khyber series in Halifax, Canada, which ran in conjunction with the TD Halifax Jazz Festival.
Aaron has performed at venues throughout the world, including (but not limited to) The Apollo Theater, The Knitting Factory (NYC, Brooklyn & Hollywood), The Bottom Line, 55 Bar, Tonic, St. Peter’s Church, Minton’s Playhouse, Zinc Bar, The Bitter End, Fillmore NYC@Irving Plaza, The Cutting Room, Lincoln Center “Out Of Doors”, B.B. King Blues, CBGB’s, as well as at The Metropolitan Opera.
