A holiday celebration inspired by the music of Django Reinhardt featuring 3 top bands in the style of Gypsy jazz playing holiday songs and classic tunes. Experience a modern interpretation of this classic swinging style in an evening affair to be remembered.
Franglais:
Relentlessly creative, yet seriously old guard, Franglais is one of the best and most interesting Gypsy jazz bands in the United States. Founded in 2004 after a trip to the Django Reinhardt Jazz festival in Samois-Sur-Seine, France. Performing at that very festival 10 later!, Franglais sounds like jazz in the Sinti camps yet creative and beautiful solos from the front line make their music distinctly American.
