The TS Wind Ensemble is a modern take on the Philip Sousa, American wind band tradition using Theta Systems and scales to generate harmonic and rhythmic material, both written and improvised.
Music innovator, Ben Stapp has established himself as a singular voice both as a tubist and composer. Sam Newsome stands as a multifaceted figure in the world of jazz—a saxophonist, music professor, and accomplished writer. In 2022, Newsome received the prestigious Bronx BRIO Award for Instrumental Music and secured the title of Soprano Saxophonist of the Year in the 14th Annual International Critics Polls.
