PHUC Presents: You Have The Floor Album Release Performance (NYC)

PHUC (pronounced fook), is a contemporary trio based in the Northeast USA, comprised of drummer Caleb Cronan, saxophonist Jake D’Ambra & bassist James Heston.Their repertoire is fueled by counterpoint and interplay centered around original compositions. In December 2024, they will be releasing their third studio album, You Have the Floor.

“How can we create an easy to digest, tidy package of counterpoint; one that keeps the average listener engaged but also peaks the interest of those who are privy to a deeper sense of musicality?” Their goal for this project was to write music that was harmonically relatable yet still carefully detailed in form, timbre and execution.

PHUC will be performing selections from You Have the Floor as well as newer works that showcase the group’s changing sound. Attendees of the night’s performance will be given exclusive streaming access to the album 1 week before the album’s full release.
