Gabriel Meyer is a trombonist and composer based out of Philadelphia and is currently studying with Robert Edwards and Norman David. He is known for leading groups such as The Gabriel Meyer Creative Orchestra and The Gabriel Meyer 5tet, where he plays music from composers like Anthony Braxton, Dave Holland, and Carla Bley. With his 5tet he has blended together the unique sounds of trombone, guitar, piano, and synthesizer into creative original compositions and thrilling improvisations.
