DESCRIPTION:An evening of mindful movement\, creativity & community. Come shake off the winter in this spring gathering that moves from breath to brushstroke\, all for a great cause. This evening is designed to feed both your body and creative soul. We believe that movement unlocks creativity\, creativity builds connection\, and connection is how we show up for each other and for the world. All proceeds benefit the Immigrant Defense Project\, a nonprofit providing legal defense and advocacy for immigrants facing the courts. We’ll share more throughout the night about how to stay engaged and support the amazing work they do. For more info\, see here: immigrantdefenseproject.org. \nThe evening: 🧘 Guided Meditation & Yoga Flow — 6:20-7:30 Led by Julie Kerner. \nDoors open at 6pm. \nWe begin upstairs at 6:20 with breath and movement to help you arrive fully. No experience needed. Bring your own mat or borrow one of ours. \n🎨 Watercolor Workshop — 7:30- 8:30pm \nLed by artist Genia Blazer and Julie Kerner. \nYour body is warm\, your mind is open — now let it flow onto paper. \n  \n🎵 Live Music — Throughout the evening. \n🥂 Food\, Drinks & Community — Light bites and drinks available for purchase.
