Full of humor and harmony\, their award-winning music is a delight for all ages. \nStrawbitty Yops are an intergenerational\, Queer family-music band from Austin\, Texas who embrace community\, acceptance\, collaboration and lead with kindness and rhythm. \nLady B of Lavender Blues performs songs from her albums “The REMIXES & “the REMIXES too\,” as well as some of her classroom music… Parents and little ones will love this interactive\, toe-tapping\, get-out-of-your-seat good time with Lady B and her Bunnies. \n  \nEsther Crow\, an award-winning NYC-based “kindie climate rocker”\, writes and performs songs about climate justice\, social justice and community. She is also a puppeteer and leads puppet-making workshops encouraging families to make art out of trash and found objects.

Marc brings over 20 years of live performance\, songwriting\, beat production\, video production\, event production and audio engineering experience to a wide array of programming for pre-k through middle school aged children.\nMarc diversified his portfolio and began hosting highly successful children’s dance parties as the resident MC and premier event host for the world renowned\, family dance craze\, Baby Loves Disco. To date\, marc has toured over 50 cities hosting family dance parties for multigenerational audiencess. Marc now has built upon his accomplishments by developing unique\, cutting edge educational programming that seamlessly support the identity of a school. Outside of his entertainment and education experience\, Marc has worked for three major nonprofit organizations in NYC and has led marketing\, events and volunteer departments for the past 14 years. His own early education includes District 15’s PS. 230 and MS 51\, as well as Laguardia High School of the Performing Arts as a vocal major. Marc is known for his high energy and integrity\, he is a champion of children and their learning in fun environments.

DESCRIPTION:7pm: All-City Latin Ensemble \n8pm: Fat Cats \n9pm – 11pm: Open Jam Session \n\nSparkling with the sound of young talent\, The Fat Cats is a pre-professional youth orchestra. The group is composed of one big band and two small ensembles that perform Latin jazz and standard jazz pieces and showcase the finest young talent from across all NYC boroughs. \nFounded in 2010 by Arturo O’Farril and managed by the Afro Latin Jazz Alliance\,  The Fat Cats is led by Zack O’Farrill with Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra members Jim Seeley\, Berta Moreno\, and Jasim Perales\, as well as Arthur Alvarez and Adam Baksh-García. \nOver the years\, The Fat Cats have taken the stage at New York venues such as the Brooklyn Museum\, New York Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center\, the Frick Collection\, the Greene Space at WNYC\, BRIC House\, Birdland and Brooklyn’s Shapeshifter Lab who has welcomed the band for weekly rehearsals since their 2023-2024 season.
