DESCRIPTION:Everyone Welcome!\nMembers and Non-members!\n\n\n6:30 pm     Bomin Kim Duo \nBomin Kim on Piano\, Seungmin Jung on Bass \nThe duo sessions \n7:20 pm    Darren Solomon + Nathan Haselby – Jazz Manouche \nJazz Manouche\, maybe little bit Western Swing \n8:00 pm    Annie Keating Band \nAnnie Keating on acoustic guitar\, \nDan Vonnegut on drums\, \nJamie Fox on electric guitar\, \nBen Ruben on bass guitar and \nSteve Jenkins on piano/keyboard \nTalent spotted by BBC Radio‘s Bob Harris\, Keating has released 11 critically acclaimed studio albums drawing formidable comparisons to artists including Lucinda Williams\, Bob Dylan\, Willie Nelson\, Johnny Cash\, Bonnie Raitt and John Prine along the way. A staple of the contemporary Americana scene\, Annie Keating writes and sings like a woman who knows deep down that heartache is the price of hope\, and she can make us believe — in that way that only the best artists can — that all of it is worth the cost. \n\n\nThe Park Slope Food Coop Concert Series is one of the most exciting initiatives we undertake as a community. With so many gifted and talented members\, creating this series was a natural decision and a no-brainer.\n\nThe baton of music and performance curation was passed on to Jay and Alexis by Beverly Grant—a great artist and long-time member since the inception of the Food Coop. Beverly is an artist\, photographer\, singer-songwriter\, composer\, and activist who has greatly contributed to our community.\nJason Weiner and the membership staff have played a key role in bringing this event to life. We thank them for sharing the same joy and respect for the arts\, which enriches all walks of life.\n\nBefore the shutdown\, this concert series was a crucial and pinnacle way of bringing us closer together as a community that truly cares about the world around us. Art\, in every aspect of our human experience\, is a life-healing force.\n\nAlexis Cuadrado and Jay Rodriguez are both professional musicians\, composers\, and producers. They have expanded the vision of the curation to create a platform for freedom of expression for all. Shapeshifter Lab visionaries Fortuna Sung and Matthew Garrison have also become vital to our mission\, generously providing us with their performance space across the street from the Food Coop.
