SUMMARY:Anthony Muthurajah Quartet
DESCRIPTION:Rez Abbasi – Guitar\nChris Carroll – Drums\nRahul Carlberg – Piano/Keyboards \nMaking his debut as a band leader in NYC\, Anthony Muthurajah is no stranger to bass players from all over the world. Having recently moved to the United States from Dubai\, U.A.E\, he is currently in the works of doing his 3rd record\, which will feature some of NYC’s finest musicians. The project is a sonically driven experience of Anthony’s background\, ranging from Gospel\, RnB all the way to Rock\, Fusion and Jazz. The compositions and arrangements really highlight the Middle Eastern and South Asian influence of Anthony’s childhood\, with a strong contemporary harmonic and melodic direction. The group will also be performing compositions from Anthonys previous two releases.
