SUMMARY:BlackBox Festival: Night 1 - Opening Concert + After Hours Show
DESCRIPTION:The New York City-based BlackBox Ensemble opens their 2024 BLACKBOX FEST with an evening of performances at ShapeShifter Lab! The night begins with a program of works by new and frequent BlackBox collaborators including Paul Novak\, Bobby Ge\, Jessica Meyer\, Baldwin Giang\, and Yaz Lancaster. Then\, stick around for a late night concert of solo and chamber works by Brittany J. Green\, Kaija Saariaho\, Nina Shekhar\, Lucy McKnight\, Paul Kerekes\, Yaz Lancaster\, and a new electro-acoustic work by BlackBox members Tyler Neidermayer and jc clancy.
