NY Music Daily described Klazz-Ma-Tazz as “Epically Haunting Lynchian Klezmer Jazz.” For this performance, the group explores reimagined modern jazz arrangements of classic Purim music, electrifying tradition for a nostalgically progressive 21st-century audience.

 

About:
Founded in 2014, Klazz-Ma-Tazz has released two albums and been featured on international radio, performing at venues including City Winery, Golden Fest, Cornelia Street Café, DROM, and World Cafe Live. In 2018, their arrangement of the Ukrainian folk song Svalava Kozatshok went viral, garnering nearly 20K views. Described by RG Magazine as “wild, yet reserved,” the group blends surprise, excitement, and calm in a single sitting.
